We had outgrown our home and needed a larger home to fit our needs. We had heard great things about Chris and were happy to have him take us on as clients. Chris took note of all our must haves and our budget. He searched daily for new listings that fit our checklist. Not only did he facilitate selling our house off-market for top dollar, but he was also able to carefully navigate a highly competitive negotiation to secure our next house for an affordable price. When we first met with Chris we were in contract with another agent. Despite knowing that he was not able to secure our business he was extremely supportive by giving us helpful advice around market trends, our home value, and preparation tips to be aware of when selling. As he predicted our house had difficulty selling due to timing and marketing tactics and unfortunately we had to remove the listing for the season. However he was persistent and stayed in contact with us so that when the opportunity presented itself again we were able to enlist his services. He designed a customized strategy to better position our house taking into account our concerns of the previous attempt. He had plenty of local connections for landscaping, cleaning, photography, etc. and was able to leverage his network and get multiple bids off-market. We ultimately accepted a highly competitive offer with no contingencies and an expedited close that was well over comps in the area. We were able to go through the entire process of selling with minimal disturbance to our daily routines and without having to relocate our family or pets. He was even able to facilitate an extended rent back at no cost to give us more than enough time to transition for the move. During the period between selling and buying he was extremely patient and really listened to our wants and needs. When we found the house we wanted he was able to move quickly and position us as the front runner candidates. Even though the seller received multiple higher offers than ours, due to his strong relationships we were able to work with them directly to secure our position as the winning bid while paying below market value. He went above and beyond every step of the way and made us feel comfortable with our decisions and the process. We do not typically recommend people for fear of inconsistent experiences but our time with Chris has made us confident that he truly delivers. We plan on leveraging him for all future real estate endeavors and have recommended that our friends and family do the same.
